Dr. Brian C.B. Barnes, Ed.L.D., M.Div., Ed.M. Co-Founder, CEO Brian has a background in leading youth development, education, and community partnerships. Brian's previous roles include Chief Community Officer of the Tennessee Achievement School District’s direct-run schools, district leader for Boston Public Schools (BPS) Faith-Based/Community Partnerships, middle school leader and teacher --- and instructor and coach at the Harvard Graduate School of Education. Brian holds a Doctor of Education Leadership and Master degree from Harvard University, a Master of Divinity from Andover Newton Theological School, and a BS in Mathematics from Morehouse College.

Dr. Dorian O. Burton, Ed.L.D., M.Ed.   Co-Founder, Chief Strategy Officer Dorian has a background in leading non-profits focused on organizing youth, parents, and communities, and providing consultation to governments, philanthropies, and school districts. Dorian currently serves as the Chief Program Officer and Assistant Executive Director at Kenan Charitable Trust in Durham, NC and has previously worked for notable organizations such as Harlem Children’s Zone, Education Pioneers, and the National Football League. Dorian holds a Doctor of Education Leadership from Harvard University, an MA in Higher Education Administration from New York University, and a BA in Sociology from Penn State University.

Tokunbo Adeshiyan, MBA              Co-Founder, COO Toks has a background in business management, strategy consulting, technology services, and media. Toks currently works as a Business Strategy Manager at Accenture in Atlanta, GA. Toks has previously worked with several of the world’s largest companies on strategy development and operational initiatives. Toks holds an MBA in Strategy & Finance from The Fuqua School of Business at Duke University, MS in Computer Science from Vanderbilt University, and a BS in Computer Science from Tennessee State University.

Toks has a background in business management, strategy consulting, technology services, and media. Toks currently works as a Business Strategy Manager at Accenture in Atlanta, GA. Toks has previously worked with several of the world’s largest companies on strategy development and operational initiatives. Toks holds an MBA in Strategy & Finance from The Fuqua School of Business at Duke University, MS in Computer Science from Vanderbilt University, and a BS in Computer Science from Tennessee State University.

 
 
 
Janelle Funderburk, MBA Director, Marketing and Branding Programming Janelle has deep expertise in marketing and branding. She is the current Manager of Global Brand Marketing for Intercontinental Hotel Group (IHG). Before IHG, Janelle launched and led Hilton Hotels’ multicultural initiative targeting the LGBT, African-American, and Hispanic-American community. She also has previous experience leading marketing and branding initiatives for Hanesbrands, Inc and the Carolina Panthers. She holds both an MBA degree and a BA in Mass Communications and Journalism from the University of North Carolina-Chapel Hill.

Dana currently works as a Senior Policy Associate for the Democrats for Education Reform in Washington, D.C. She holds a Master of Public Policy and a BA in Foreign Affairs with a focus on Africa & The Caribbean from the University of Virginia.
